Miamisburg, Ohio native Dan Alley grew up in a musical family. He started playing guitar at age nine and moved to Nashville at 21 to pursue his passion for country music. Inspired Hank Williams Jr. and Merle Haggard, Alley's music blends traditional country with modern flair. In Nashville, he's collaborated with icons like Josh Thompson and Brent Cobb. As a songwriter, Alley has achieved success with hits like Lainey Wilson’s “Straight Up Sideways,” and Josh Gallagher’s “Bright Side.” Currently a songwriter at River House Artists and a member of the trio Old Hickory alongside Andy Austin and Timothy Baker, Alley continues to craft heartfelt tunes, promising more memorable music in the years ahead.
Charlie Argo, hailing from Selma, Alabama, blends southern blues and country influences into a distinctive sound. Inspired by legends like Otis Redding and Gregg Allman, Charlie moved to Nashville and quickly found success with his EP "In the Name of Love," which soared to the top of the iTunes Blues chart. His single "Tennessee Will" claimed the #1 spot on the Blues Singles chart. With a new project, "Mindful Man," on the horizon, Charlie continues to captivate audiences across the U.S., staying true to his roots in an ever-evolving music landscape. The Nashville based Singer/Songwriter has managed to blend a plethora of styles that dance on the outskirts of country music into a sound that stands on its own that we like to call, Southern Soul.
Kannapolis, North Carolina native Andy Austin has been writing and performing in Nashville since 2018. He is a country singer-songwriter and member of the trio Old Hickory with Dan Alley and Timothy Baker. The trio, signed to a development deal with River House Artists, have refined their three-part harmonies and neo-traditional storytelling, giving their audiences an overall authentic country music experience. Whether writing with the trio or for another artist, Andy’s ability to craft compelling lyrics and captivating stories, elevates any room he is in.
A native of Hazard, Kentucky, Timothy Baker grew up playing bluegrass and gospel music with his family. Baker, who fell in love with country music at an early age, made the move to Nashville in July 2018 and quickly found his way into a number of songwriting circles that helped him hone his craft. In January of 2023, Timothy joined forces with longtime friends Dan Alley and Andy Austin to form the trio Old Hickory. That same year, he also celebrated his first major label cut with Jake Worthington’s “State You Left Me In.”
Sam Bank’s love of country music stems from a time so young his dad had to chauffeur him to gigs all over the Midwest. Heavily influenced by the songwriting of Dean Dillon and Tony Lane, the artistry of Merle Haggard, and Brent Mason’s infamous chicken pickin’ guitar licks, Sam’s heartfelt songwriting will have you hanging onto every word. A Kansas City native, Sam sold merch for Craig Morgan, and a few years later, started playing venues like the Grand Ole Opry right alongside Craig as his utility player/BGV. As a singer, songwriter, and musician, he has shared the stage with Craig Morgan, Trace Adkins, John Rich, Gary Levox, Jimmy Fortune, and Hank Williams Jr.’s children. Sam has written songs alongside his inspirations Tony Lane, Ray Fulcher, Bobby Tomberlin, Brice Long, Rob Williford, and Clint Daniels. Sam had his first major label cut with Craig Morgan in 2020 with “Going Out Like This” (God Family Country). His most recent cuts include "Ask Him" by Morgan (God Family Country Deluxe), along with multiple cuts on William Michael Morgan's Onto Something EP and an upcoming cut with Texas artist Josh Ward. Sam penned a publishing deal with Porchlight Music in 2024, and his debut single “Who’s Teachin Who” was released in June 2024 on all streaming platforms.
They say storytellers are at their best when they write about what they know. Quartz Hill Records newcomer Nate Barnes is no exception. The young, blue-collar power plant worker writes and sings about the work and the everyday life he lived in the small town of South Haven, Michigan. When he was 21, a close friend and mentor introduced Barnes to the music of Keith Whitley, George Strait, Alabama and Brooks & Dunn. Influenced by those artists, Barnes sings about God, family, hard work, heartache, love, the simple life and its simple joys. Barnes recently completed his debut album which will be released in early 2025 while the first single from the album, “Love in the Country,” can be enjoyed now across all streaming and digital retail partners.
Nacogdoches, Texas native and singer-songwriter Terri Jo Box has spent the last 25 years as a forerunner in the Nashville music scene. Box moved from East Texas to Music City in 1999. She wrote for MERF Music Group from 2010-2016, and became the flagship writer signed to Jonas Group Publishing in 2019. Box has earned placement on four GRAMMY-nominated albums including two cuts on Lainey Wilson’s ACM, CMA and GRAMMY Award-winning Bell Bottom Country, Miranda Lambert’s 2018 ACM Album of the Year, The "Weight of These Wings", bluegrass group Sister Sadie’s "Sister Sadie II" and Ashley McBryde’s debut, "Girl Going Nowhere." She has also written songs recorded by Eric Church, Joe Nichols, Trisha Yearwood, Patty Loveless, Trent Tomlinson and many more.
Ronnie Bowman has achieved remarkable heights in his musical career as an award-winning Bluegrass songwriter and vocalist, as well as an award-winning songwriter in Country music. Both Brooks & Dunn and Kenny Chesney have brought Ronnie Bowman originals to #1, and Lee Ann Womack also included a song by Bowman on her multiplatinum selling album "I Hope You Dance." Bowman penned three songs on Chris Stapleton's album "Traveller." The single "Nobody To Blame" won Bowman the ACM Song of the Year Award.
Marty Brown is a seasoned country music entertainer and all-American songwriter who has recorded four albums for MCA Records, including Wild Kentucky Skies, Wildest Dreams, Cryin Lovin Leavin and Here's To The Honky Tonks. Brown has toured with country legends George Jones, Hank Williams Jr, Garth Brooks, and Brooks & Dunn. He penned the country classic "I'm from the Country and I Like it that Way" for Tracy Byrd, "It Ain't Me If It Ain't You" for Brooks and Dunn, and "When I Stop Loving You" for Trace Adkins. The highlight of Brown's music career is when the King of Country Music, George Strait, recorded a love song he wrote for his wife of 20 years, Shellie. "To The Moon" is the third track on Strait's upcoming album, Cowboys and Dreamers, set to release in September. Brown, a BMI songwriter, signed an Administrative Publishing Contract with Universal Publishing in December 2023. He was inducted into the Kentucky Music Hall of Fame in 2022, and received over 25 million online views as a semi-finalist on America's Got Talent Season 8 when he performed Bob Dylan's "Make You Feel My Love."
Buddy Cannon is a three-time Grammy award winning producer and currently works with Kenny Chesney and Willie Nelson. As a songwriter, his catalog includes the hits “Set ‘Em Up Joe”, “Give It Away”, “I’ve Come To Expect It From You” and “Dream Of Me”. Buddy spent six years at Mercury/PolyGram Records where he was instrumental in signing Shania Twain, Sammy Kershaw and Billy Ray Cyrus. Cannon got his start in the business as a bass player for Bob Luman and Mel Tillis.
Marla Cannon-Goodman grew up in Kingston, TN surrounded by some of the greatest songwriters in the business, with one of them being her own father, Buddy Cannon. Since her first cut by Sammy Kershaw in 1996, Marla has been making country music history of her own with songs recorded by artists like Sammy Kershaw, Billy Currington, Blake Shelton, Eric Church, Kenny Chesney, George Strait, Sarah Evans, Willie Nelson and more. Marla’s chart topping hits include Lee Ann Womack’s smash “The Fool,” Tracy Byrd’s “Ten Rounds With José Cuervo” and Rodney Atkins’ “Cleaning This Gun.” Marla has earned her place as one of country music’s most-beloved and respected hit-makers.
Mark Addison Chandler got his first guitar when he was 17. He dreamed about moving to Nashville after high school, but life took a detour. Mark followed in his dad’s footsteps and joined the Army. Fast forward a few decades later, Mark has gone from military to Music Row, currently living in Nashville as a songwriter and Host/Founder of Grindhouse Nashville, one of Nashville's premiere Songwriter Shows and Talent booking agencies. Grammy, ACM, and CMA-Nominated CJ Field is a talented musician, songwriter and entertainer. After moving to Nashville in 2011, he quickly established himself as a sought-after songwriter. He co-wrote "Home Sweet Highway" with Ashley McBryde and Blue Foley. CJ continues to collaborate with McBryde, Aaron Lewis, D. Vincent Williams, Marla Cannon-Goodman, Trent Tomlinson and more. CJ's also shared the stage with musicians like Ira Dean, Trombone Shorty, Bela Fleck, and Amy Helm. CJ started playing music in Massachusetts at the age of 20. Mark Hall is a Music Publisher, Singer-Songwriter, Producer, Song-plugger, USCG 25 T Master Captain, Mild Mannered Insurance Salesman. He is the Chairman and Co-Owner of FAME Music Publishing out of Muscle Shoals, Alabama. Over the decades, FAME Publishing has scored multiple “Song of the Year” Awards with artists like All-4-One, Tim McGraw, John Michael Montgomery, Ronnie Milsap, and Earl Thomas Conley. The company has had 43 ASCAP or BMI Awards for the "Most Played Songs of the Year" during Hall's tenure. In 1996, Hall co-wrote Tim McGraw's smash hit “I Like It I Love It” which went on to be #1 on the country charts for four weeks and won American Songwriter Magazine's Song Of The Year.
Kurtis John has spent the last two decades writing, recording, touring, and producing music that has made its way onto stages, radio stations, movie theaters, and households worldwide. Born and raised in the small town of Enfield, Connecticut, John found mainstream success as lead singer and songwriter for The Last Goodnight. He found chart-topping success throughout North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia with his hit singles “Pictures Of You” and “Stay Beautiful.” Both tracks reached the Top 5 on the US Hot AC Chart and the former was the most played song in Australia throughout 2007 and soundtracked national campaigns for Kodak and New Line Cinema’s “Ghosts of Girlfriends Past” as well as promos for ABC’s “Brothers & Sisters.” After his success with The Last Goodnight, John moved to Nashville to dig deeper into his songwriting and production. Will Jones has lived and breathed all things Country since he was half the height to a hound dog. Beginning his music career at just six years of age, Will started performing with his family’s traveling bluegrass band, The Cana Ramblers, and would go on to garner national notoriety for their final album release in 2009, No Expectations. Since going his own with a solo career as a singer-songwriter at the age of 17, Will’s music has taken him all over the southern United States performing at high profile events with some of the biggest names in country music, including Tracy Lawrence, Sierra Hull, Sarah Jarosz, Chris Thile, Johnny Cash, Osborne Brothers, Ralph Stanley, Ben Haggard and more.
Country music makes people feel understood. That’s what made Northern California native, Jenna LaMaster, fall in love with it. The barrel-racing, western songbird moved from CA to TX where she competed on the professional rodeo circuit before moving to Nashville. In 2020, Jenna signed her first publishing deal with Sheltered Music. While working on her own project, Jenna penned her first two major label cuts on Big Loud Record’s recording artist Ashland Craft with songs, “Your Momma Still Does,” and “Leavin’ You Again.” She has since penned Craft’s “Danced With The Devil,” along with Kasey Tyndall’s “Place For Me,” and Faren Rachel’s “Bad Whiskey.” Jenna's first single, “Drunk Thoughts” is out now.
Casey LeVasseur is no stranger to the music industry. She spent much of her childhood in local dives, studios and publishing houses learning the business from some of the very best producers, managers and writers. Her list of teachers and mentors includes her father, Hall of Fame songwriter, Jeffrey Steele. LeVasseur is head of A&R/Artist Management at 3 Ring Circus Music & Records in Nashville, TN and has played an active role in the development of several hit writers as well as had a hand in many song placements from Miley Cyrus to Keith Urban, Eric Church and the like. LeVasseur and Steele also jointly operate the Jeffrey Steele Academy, a teaching community for aspiring writers. She is passionate about discovering new artists with unique sounds and eclectic personalities. When she isn’t developing artists and writers, LeVasseur is creating and performing. LeVasseur's storyteller writing and sound can be heard as part of the duo Silence x Noise with fellow dreamer Kurtis John.
Hopkinsville, KY native Brice Long has enjoyed a successful 25+ year music career. As a songwriter, Long has had 125+ of his songs cut by legends like Garth Brooks, George Strait, Chris Stapleton, Hank Williams Jr, Randy Houser, Josh Turner, Lainey Wilson, Gary Allan, Jon Pardi, Reba McEntire, Randy Travis, Trace Adkins, John Michael Montgomery and more. Long’s hits include #1 singles “Heartache On The Dance Floor” by Jon Pardi and “Nothing On But The Radio” by Gary Allan. Randy Houser’s “Like a Cowboy” garnered Long a CMA nomination for Song of the Year. Long is signed to Sony Music Publishing.
Hailing from Worthington, Ohio, Cole Miracle began writing songs full time in 2021, and signed a global publishing deal with Warner Chappell Music in 2023. Aniston Pate is a Country Singer/Songwriter, born and raised in Dalhart, TX… where cowboys aren’t just legend… they are alive and working. She relies heavily on her small town values & “bless your heart” raising in both life and songwriting. Aniston’s music is natural, honest, and about real life. She began pursuing music in 5th grade and by 8th grade she had her sights set on Belmont University in Nashville, TN. Aniston was playing gigs and shows locally as a freshman and in her senior year she was accepted into Belmont’s School of Music as a Commercial Voice Major. Since her move to Nashville, Aniston has been successful in both her college career & music endeavors. She frequents invitational writers rounds when she’s not playing sets downtown Broadway. Her shows are a combination of covers and originals that keep the crowd impressed and entertained. She released her first EP in 2022.
Born and raised in Langley, British Columbia, Brock Phillips is a multi-talented singer, songwriter, and producer. He has been immersed in different facets of music his entire life, giving him the opportunity to become comfortable wearing every hat — out of both passion and necessity. Since attending Berklee College of Music in his early twenties, Phillips has been honing his skills as a seasoned performer around the Vancouver area, including a four-year residency at Stanley Park Brewing. More recently, the rising songwriter has shifted focus to his pen game through dedicated writing trips to Nashville. When Phillips isn’t focused on his own music, you can find him working with other artists of all genres, and supporting his hometown through hosting community open mic events. Phillips is a member of the Grindhouse Nashville team of singer-songwriters.
Trick Savage is a lifetime music professional and Grammy nominated songwriter hailing from Oklahoma - a place he calls the “ground zero of country music greatness.” He's an in demand sideman and session guitarist. As an ad music guy, Trick has written and produced music for clients from ESPN, TBN and WGN to Levis, Sonic Drive In and even Presidential candidates. As a songwriter, he’s had cuts with Eric Church, Ashley McBryde, Dan Smalley, Trisha Yearwood and more. "Cool Little Bars" is on Ashley McBryde's current album, The Devil I Know, written with Ashley McBryde and Lainey Wilson.
Scout Speer’s passion for music was kindled in a home on the Tennessee-Alabama line, where her grandaddy’s guitar playing introduced her to the harmonies that bind a family. Raised amid the sounds of country greats and rustic farming life, outdoor adventures became as much a part of her as her music. At eight years old, motivated by a promise from her grandaddy to pass down the family guitar, Scout learned to play, earning herself the cherished instrument. Five time Grammy Nominee, Jeffrey Steele has been recognized by BMI for over 65 million airplays for hits he penned for a multitude of artists including Keith Urban, Eric Church, Zac Brown Band, Jimmy Buffett, Montgomery Gentry, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Cher, Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, Trace Adkins, LeAnn Rimes, Rascal Flatts and Van Zant, Joe Cocker, Little Feat ft. Bob Seger, Joe Bonamassa, Cascada and more. Regan Stewart is the epitome of the music she grew up on. The Auburn, AL native began writing songs at a young age and has quickly made a name for herself in Nashville. She has been featured in Rolling Stone, Cowgirl Magazine, as well as on NPR, Taste of Country, CMT, and Cowboys & Indians. In 2018, she was asked to join Jake Owen's team on USA Network's, "Real Country." Regan has played iconic venues around Nashville including The Bluebird Cafe, WSM 650 Radio, The Municipal Auditorium, 3rd and Lindsley, and The Woolworth Theatre. With over 650k streams on all platforms, Regan has had songs recorded by independent artists like Lane Smith, Hayley Payne, and Alison Elena. In 2024, she also had three songs featured in the Pureflix film, “God’s Country Song.” Her recent singles “Cut Out The Country,” “Haven’t Even Cried Yet”, and “Wishes or Weeds” will release in July 2024. As the daughter of Country Music Royalty, Pam Tillis was determined from a young age to find her own way in music as a singer and songwriter. Band, chorus, talent shows, church, and the creative community of Nashville all helped to shape the young singer. Growing up, Pam was in a variety of bands, spanning from jazz and alternative country to top 40. Since then, Pam has gone on to perform on Broadway in New York, modeled on the pages of Glamour Magazine and is a proud member of The Grand Ole Opry. Pam is a 3-time CMA award winner, including the prestigious 1994 Female Vocalist Of The Year Award. She has been nominated multiple times for Grammy’s Best Female Country Vocal Performance, including “Maybe It Was Memphis" (1993), “Mi Vida Loca” (1996), and “All The Good Ones Are Gone” (1998). Pam is also proud to be a 9-time ACM Award nominee, a 2-time Grammy award winner and 6-time Grammy nominee, and an American Music Award’s nominee. Pam's star continues to shine brightly in the 3rd decade of her career. She is currently touring extensively on her own as well as with her “Grits And Glamour” tour partner, Lorrie Morgan.
Haley Hawkins is a songwriter born and raised in Dayton, Ohio. She relocated to Lake Martin in the fall of 2021 after graduating college. At just seven years old she began writing songs on the piano and soon after picked up guitar. Throughout the years she played music in church, open mic nights, talent shows, and occasionally made appearances playing her original songs with her dads band. Her playful mix of pop folk has been inspired by artists and writers such as Julia Michaels, Gregory Alan Isakov, and Colbie Caillat.
Throughout the course of Josiah Rodda's musical career, Josiah has performed at a variety of venues, festivals, writers rounds,recorded multiple singles, and has made several appearances on local television and radio stations such as Talk Of Alabama 33/40, The Dee Ford Show in Talladega, The Front Porch on WAXCTV, Revocation Radio and Its All Good With Ice Berg Slim. He enjoys writing music that people from all walks of life can relate to. Josiah is so humbled to have gained so many fans across the state of Alabama with whom he considers part of his family. Josiah’s goal is to continue putting everything he has into writing more songs that his fans will love and promoting his music across different platforms.
Mia Rogers is an up-and-coming singer-songwriter from Auburn, Alabama. In 2023, Rogers released her first single "What's Your Type," which is available on all streaming platforms. Also an accomplished guitarist, Rogers is a student at Auburn University studying Commercial Music. She plans to attend Law School to become a Copyright Lawyer.
Dean Sheffield is a talented emerging singer-songwriter with a passion for music that he has cultivated from a young age. Hailing from Auburn, Alabama, his talent is one to watch in the future. With a strong musical background and a desire to follow in his father’s footsteps, Dean Sheffield is set to establish himself in the music industry.
An upcoming freshman at Auburn University, Leah is a singer/songwriter whose songs usually fit in either the country pop or country blues genres. Born and raised in Columbiana, AL, she has been writing songs since she was six years old and began performing at age 10. She often performs at local restaurants and events, mixing current and classic covers with her ever-growing list of original songs. With influences ranging from Sarah Bareilles to Tyler Childers, Leah brings a fresh, yet classic perspective to the table. She currently has 11 songs released on all streaming platforms including a 5 song EP entitled “Goodbye Lovergirl” released on June 29th. She has many more songs she performs live that have yet to be released and she is always writing new material.
